Advice First Aid
We are hosting Advice First Aid Sessions to frontline workers in grass root organisations, faith groups, community centres and all charitable organisations.
What is it?
Advice First Aid is diagnosing a groups or individuals issues and knowing where to direct them or providing information to assist them. It is not advising them.
Advice First Aid aims to:
- Strengthen the community to support people who face hardship
- Work with community, social and faith groups to provide community-based advice and advocacy for local people
- Train Advice First Aiders in the community so we can connect better with people who need advice
The Advice First Aid training comprises of two sessions:
- Session 1 – Introduction to Advice First Aid: 6th October 2024, 9.30am – 4.15pm
- Session 2 – AFA-Diving into Enquiry Areas: 19th November 2024, 9.30am – 1pm
You will need to attend both sessions to gain the accreditation.
