Job Role: Community Advice Worker (Telephone Casework)
(Trainees will be considered)

Hours: Full time/Part time

Salary Range: £29,792-35,760(FTE).
Salary uplift on successful completion of Probation for trainee positions.

Place of Work: Remote,Office, Hybrid

What skills are we looking for?

• Effective oral & written communication skills: with emphasis on negotiation, representing and preparing reviews, reports & correspondence.

• Ability to use IT Systems: Word processor, Spreadsheets, Calendars and CRM systems.

•Fully Telephone based Casework role with emotional intelligence surrounding non F2F access.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to prioritise own work, meet deadlines and targets, manage caseload, monitor and maintain own standards.

• Maintaining relationships with external partners and helping vulnerable clients.

We are seeking a candidate looking to develop a career in advice work who will demonstrate they have the capacity and drive to successfully train to deliver general information and advice, and mentor general advice volunteers.

This is an exciting role training to deliver information and advice, often those at greatest risk of vulnerability, helping them to understand their rights and identify options to move forward with their issues.

The general advice service deals with a broad range of often complex issues including benefits, debt, employment, housing and family problems.

Comprehensive training package and learning support provided.
