How to get Advice

When you require our help and advice, we first need to make an assessment of your issue.

This is done over the phone, by one of our Adviceline telephone assessors.

You can call Adviceline on: 0808 278 7966 (Monday – Friday / 9am – 5pm).

Calls to Adviceline are free from both landline and mobile phones.

We are very busy as demand for our services are high.  At peak times you may have to wait up to 45 minutes to speak with our telephone assessors.  Please be patient – your call will be answered.

Once connected, the telephone assessor will explore your issues and advise you on the next steps.  If they can, they will resolve your issue in the call.

Should your issues require further exploration, an appointment will be arranged for you to see one of our advisers.

If we are unable to resolve your issue, we will explore further options.

This might involve sign-posting you to another organisation with specialised knowledge to assist you.
