Andrew Godfrey has lived in Haringey since 2019. He started his career working as an adviser for Citizens Advice York and then for a local authority as a welfare benefits adviser, before joining the NHS. He is now the managing director for Learning Disabilities and Forensic Services at Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust.

Chloe Hedman
Chloe Hedman grew up in Tottenham. Her experience of homelessness and living in the YMCA in Crouch End, fuelled her motivation to pursue a career in the charity sector. She has worked for a number of charities including Engine Room in Tottenham Hale and Hope in Haringey.
Cruz Glynka
Cruz is a senior policy and strategy advisor in the government. He also is a school governor at Tiverton Primary School in Tottenham.
Giselle McGowen
Giselle has lived in Haringey since she was 7 years old. She is a barrister specialising in insolvency, property, and tax law. After starting her career in-house with HMRC , moved to private practice in 2013.
Gloria Saffrey-Powell
Gloria is the director of CARIS Haringey. She has over 30 years experience working on various homeless projects and contributing to the fields of immigration, education, training and community development. Her contribution was recognised in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours list when she was awarded the British Empire Medal.
Lorna Reith
Lorna is the Chair of Citizens Advice Haringey. Her background includes being a Haringey Councillor between 2003-2016, including periods in the Cabinet and as Deputy Leader. She was also a the CEO of a national disability charity specialising in disability and related benefits for 14 years. Prior to her retirement, she was CEO of Healthwatch Enfield and she is currently chair of the Tottenham District Charity which provides grants to people in need locally.
Peter Mitchell
Peter lives in Wood Green and prior to retirement worked as a trade union official as well as serving as a Haringey Councillor for the ward of Woodside between 2015-2022. He is also the Chair of the Wood Green (Urban District) Charity, which provides both pensions and grants to eligible residents of the area.
Richard Warner
Richard has lived in Haringey for over 45 years. His career in the telecoms industry culminated as the Customer CIO for Openreach. Since his retirement he continues to act as a consultant for Ofcom.
Sean O’Donovan
Sean has been a Haringey resident for over 30 years. In 2023 he was elected as a Haringey Councillor for Tottenham Hale ward. He previously worked as a MP’s caseworker/researcher.
Richard Tueten
Richard has had a 43 year career in international development as a senior civil servant, working to further global poverty reduction including in the Department for International Development/Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Since retirement, he’s wanted to be more directly involved in supporting vulnerable people.
